American Intercontinental University
American Intercontinental University offers three campuses in the United States and one campus in London. They also offer a strong online curriculum, known as American Intercontinental University Online. American Intercontinental University is headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The president of the online division is Stephen J. Tober.

Financial Aid
Students attending American Intercontinental University are eligible for many forms of government aid. This includes aid from the military, federal aid and state aid. Each student receives a financial aid advisor to help them through the process.
History
American Intercontinental University was started in 1970 by Americans Jack and Helen Barnette. The Barnettes opened the campus in Lucerne, Switzerland, and was known as the American Fashion College of Switzerland. The college was moved to London in 1978, and changed its name to the American College for the Applied Arts. The first college in the United States was opened in Atlanta, Georgia in 1976. The college opened its online education campus in 2002. 80% of all students attend the online campus. The school is now owned by the Career Education Corporation. The corporation received the 2010 CCA Innovation Award for innovative online education.
